House Rules

These House Rules shall be applicable on all the members, guests, vendor or any person (“User” / “Users”) who enters / uses the designated area, common area, conference rooms, and any other places (“premises”) within any Hub(s) of M/s 91 Springboard Business Hub Private Limited (“91S”) and M/s Springboard Solutions Private Limited (“91S”). 91S offers its premises along with associated services & facilities of coworking (“services”) to its members on membership basis. 

The term ‘Hub’ in this document means such hub of 91S where the User is accessing the premises and/or availing the services from 91S (“Hub”). 

The term ‘Member’ in this document means any Member who is availing services of 91S at its Hub, as per a Coworking Letter-Terms of Offer executed between the Member Entity, and 91S; or a person who is a Day Pass Holder purchased from 91S.

The terms and conditions of the House Rules are detailed as below –

Designated / Common Area Rules

  1. The premises shall be accessed by the Users only for work/services related usage and lawful purposes. Members/Users shall not be allowed to stay in the premises overnight, except for work purposes and, if permissible by building rules. The premises of 91S are offered to Members for being accessed as a coworking service on membership basis, which shall not be utilized for residential or any other similar purpose. 
  2. Members shall not assign or transfer their right to access and/or usage under the membership/agreement, to any other third party, without written consent from authorized persons of its Entity/Employer and 91S.   
  3. Users shall access premises and/or avail services of 91S in a reasonable manner which should not cause nuisance to other Users which disturbs their peaceful usage of premises and/or services. 
  4. Any User shall not trespass on the movable or immovable properties of other 91S’s Users, employees, guests, etc. If any User finds any misplaced item at the Hub while accessing premises and/or availing services of 91S then in such User is reasonably expected to intimate the Hub’s Team about the same. If such an item is picked by any User then the same must be immediately handed over to the Hub’s team.
  5. Users shall access premises in a manner consistent with typical commercial office building usage. 
  6. Users shall be respectful while engaging with other Users and staff of 91S.
  7. Members/Users shall not store money or any other valuable goods or commodities in the Hub that are not commonly kept in commercial offices; in the event it is done in violation to this condition then 91S will not be liable for any such loss.
  8. Users shall access premises and/or avail services, while ensuring that their usage does not cause any threat to safety of other 91S’s Users, employee(s), guest(s), or to any immovable or movable property.
  9. Users shall not leave their moveable assets and properties unattended at the seat or anywhere in the premises. Every User shall be responsible for safety of its assets and properties while accessing premises and/or availing services from 91S at the Hub. Finding any lost or stolen property shall not be an obligation of 91S. However, the staff of 91S, without being under a binding obligation, may provide reasonable support to the owner.
  10. Users shall remove their assets/items from the designated area after usage and shall consign them safely under their own possession. 
  11. The use of the phone booths shall be limited to one (1) hour at a time by any Member in order to allow fair usage of phone booths.
  12. Users must endeavour to keep the conversation (whether telephonic/in-person) with their counterparts reserved at reasonable level of volume which should not cause nuisance to other Users and disturbs their peaceful usage of premises and/or services. In the interest of other Users, all Users must prefer the cafeteria, pantry, meeting rooms, phone booths, or outside, for casual and informal discussions.
  13. Users must endeavour to keep the mobile phone ring/speaker volume level low or reduce it if requested to do so by a nearby User.
  14. Users are permitted to consume food only in the cafeteria or pantry area. 
  15. Users must refrain from bringing items with overpowering aromas within the Hub. 
  16. Users shall ensure safety of the moveable/immovable properties of the 91S or other Users, while accessing premises and/or avail services. In case any damage is caused by any User to any such properties, the cost of the same shall be recovered from the concerned User(s) or its Employer. 
  17. Smoking is only permitted in a dedicated smoking zone at the premises of the Hub and is strictly prohibited in other places in the Hub or anywhere in the building, such as designated areas, meeting rooms, gallery, common areas, stairs, washrooms, etc. In case, there is no dedicated smoking zone at the Hub then it should be done only outside the premises of the Hub and away from the Hub’s entry points. Considering safety of the premises and its occupants, any other activity which involves igniting/usage of fire is strictly prohibited at the Hub of 91S. Upon violation of this rule, the concerned Member shall be liable for payment of penalty of INR 1000/- per such incident and for the entire actual loss caused due to such violation. 
  18. Users shall endeavour to use the cafeteria, common areas and similar facilities (such as microwave, fridge, etc.) with reasonable care, while ensuring their safety and cleanliness. If any Member is found committing littering at the premises of the Hub then such member shall be liable for payment of penalty of INR 1000/- for such incident. 
  19. If any issue of spillage or similar inadvertent issue comes to notice of any User, then User is expected to report the same immediately to the Hub’s Team.  
  20. In case during national festivals, any User brings national flags or emblems within the premises, then such User must comply with the applicable laws, including but not limited to the National Flag Act 1950, National Emblems Act 1950, etc. Such Members must exercise reasonable care and must show utmost respect while using and removing them after usage.

Guest Policy

  1. Guest(s) must check-in at the main desk of the Hub. Members are not allowed to grant access to their guest(s) without intimating 91S in advance for obtaining written permission from 91S to grant access to such guest(s). Either the concerned Member or the Guest themselves, must provide a legitimate, government-issued photo ID and/or go through formalities as mandated by 91S.
  2. Any individual Member of a Member Entity, if requests permission from 91 to grant access to any Guest(s) then the same shall be considered a guest(s) of such Member Entity. While the guests are in the 91S Hub, the Member shall be responsible for their guests who shall be bound to adhere with the House Rules as specified herein. While such guest(s) of a Member are within the Hub and if any loss/damage is caused by such guest(s) during such period, then the same shall be recovered from the concerned Member/ its Employer. 
  3. 91S may at its sole discretion permit entry of Guests as per availability of the meeting room during the booking time, which shall be limited to the number of attendees permitted in such a meeting room. Guests shall only be permitted to access meeting rooms in the Hub. 
  4. Guests of the Member Entity must be accompanied by an employee of the Member Entity at all times (particularly any guests that are under the age of majority) and are not permitted to use the shared internet services of 91S and/or access any other areas of the premises (such as designated areas of other Members, server room(if any), etc.), except common areas/facilities, during or after the booking period.
  5. 91S reserves the right to immediately suspend the access of the guest of any Member upon violation of any of the House Rules specified herein.  

91S Assets / Properties

  1. If any asset/property which is provided to the Member of the Member Entity/ any User by the 91S, is stolen, and/or damaged or destroyed (except reasonable wear and tear during usage), then the Member Entity / User or its Employer shall be responsible for payment of the actual replacement/restoration costs.
  2. Key and Access Card is assigned only to the Member of the Member Entity, who is authorized for its possession and usage. Access cards are provided to the User(s) for accessing the Hub. Such Key and Access Card cannot be re-assigned or transferred to any third party by such Member / User without intimation and permission in writing, from the authorized person of its Entity/Employer and 91S. The Member Entity shall be responsible for ensuring that none of its employee transfer, misuse, or tamper with the Access Card/ keys in any way that could impair the card’s/Key’s functionality. Upon loss or damage of the Keys/Access Card, the Member / User shall immediately inform Member Entity / Employer, and the Hub’s Team of 91S. A duplicate key in place of the lost Key(s) shall be replaced at the actual cost which shall be reimbursed by the Member or the Member Entity / User or its Employer, to the 91S. The Access Card will be replaced at an additional fee of INR 500/-. 91S disclaims all liability for any harm, misplacement, or abuse arising out of loss of such Access-Card/Keys.
  3. Members are prohibited from making copies of any keys, access cards, or other access methods which can be used to access 91S premises. 
  4. Members are not authorized to use their Access-Card to allow access to the others at the Entry Point of the Hub. If anyone else enters the premises at the Entry Point of the Hub immediately following the access utilized by a Member through his Access Card then such incident shall be immediately brought into the knowledge of the concerned Hub’s Team by such Member.

Harassment & Discrimination Between Users of Different Member Entities

  1. Harassment and discrimination is strictly prohibited at the Hub of 91S by any User, during 91S’s sponsored events, while accessing the premises and/or availing services of 91S. 
  2. 91S specifically prohibits discrimination and/or harassment by any User against any other User(s) of other Member Entities on our premises, because of such person’s gender or gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital or civil status, pregnancy, race, colour, complexion, national origin or ancestry, nationality, ethnicity, citizenship, religion or religious beliefs, age, physical appearance, or any such similar other characteristics. 
  3. 91S welcomes reporting of any such violations by concerned victim User. If any User(s) is/are found liable for violating above provisions of harassment and discrimination, 91 Springboard will take the necessary corrective action to address their behaviour. 91S reserves its right to immediately remove the offending User(s) from the premises or may cancel their right to access the premises.

Internet

  1. Any User while using the 91S’s internet facility through its electronic equipment such as computer, tablet, mobile device, etc. (“electronic equipment”) shall only use licensed software/applications in such electronic equipment. Such electronic equipment must remain up-to-date with the latest updates released by the lawful owner or authorized vendor, and must not contain any malware, viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, or anything which is designed to perform malicious, hostile and/or intrusive operations. 91S reserves the right to remove any electronic equipment from 91S’s internet facility and/or 91S’s Member Network which poses any risk to the internet facility, network, services or other Users of 91S, until such risk is mitigated or remedied. 
  2. While using the internet facility of 91S, User shall not download any prohibited material, pirated software/application & updates of software from unauthorized sources, and/or do any act of downloading or uploading anything in contravention with applicable laws of India. The User(s) / its Employer shall be solely liable for violations and penalties arising out of violation of applicable laws, as specified herein. User and/or their Employer shall keep 91S / other suffering Parties, indemnified from any actual loss and all third-party claims arising from any alleged violation, use agreement violation, or other violations arising out of contraventions specified herein or under applicable laws of India. 
  3. Users are not allowed to carry out any online or business activity through electronic equipment that could harm or negatively impact the internet facility at the Hub including but not limited to overloading, jamming or negatively impacting any servers or networks linked to 91S.
  4. Users are not allowed to carry out any online or commercial activities involving moral turpitude or illegal acts prohibited as per applicable laws of India, which causes damage/wrongful loss to 91S/other User(s) and their reputation, such as, including but not limited to, using Hub in connection with pyramid schemes, spam, identity theft, harassing or defaming others, or uploading or downloading vulgar or indecent content. 
  5. Users shall use the internet facility provided by 91S only for lawful purposes, and must not violate any applicable central, state and/or local laws. Any material that encourages behaviour that could be illegal, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise violate any applicable law is prohibited from being transmitted using the internet facility of 91S. This includes, but is not limited to, messages that are unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or similar nature.
  6. While using internet facility of 91S, User(s) shall not attempt to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account, including but not limited to accessing data not intended for the Member, log into a server or account wherein Member is not expressly authorized to access, or attempt to crack/breach the security or data, of networks/systems of other Users of the Hub or any third Party. 
  7. 91S will make reasonable efforts from time to time, to upkeep and maintain the internet facility through available resources at the Hub. However, 91S is only a facilitator of internet facility through authorized internet facilitating private companies/distributors and therefore, 91S disclaims all liability for any data, messages, or pages that are lost, delayed, or incorrectly directed as a result of technical difficulties with the internet facility, the 91S Member network(s), transmission tools or systems.

Unlawful/Prohibited Acts

  1. User(s) shall not engage or initiate any unlawful or objectionable activities (such as gambling, selling of banned drugs, etc.) that are prohibited under applicable laws of India at premises of 91S.
  2. Weapons, ammunition, etc. of any type, as well as any other harmful, explosive, flammable, or otherwise offensive objects which may pose threat to life of any person, are strictly forbidden at premises of 91S. Consumption or bringing of alcohol or any other psychotropic illegal substances, at the premises of 91S, is strictly prohibited. If any contravention of this provision is discovered by any Member at the Hub during availing services from 91S then the same must be brought to the attention of the Hub Team of 91S. 

Eco-Friendly Guidelines

  1. Without obtaining authorisation from 91S, User(s) are not allowed to use any equipment that results in over heating or uses electricity which could put an undue burden on our electrical, IT, HVAC, or structural systems such as portable heaters, portable air conditioning, inductions and kettles or any other similar products.
  2. Users must turn off the devices and electric facilities after usage to contribute to energy conservation. 
  3. Users must follow the waste segregation policies put in place by Hub’s Teams in order to support 91S.

Packages and Delivery Personnel

  1. Mail and packages can be picked up at the 91S Hub Desk by Members who have mail and package services included in their membership. 91S will intimate such Members as and when such packages arrive, but not for mail. Letters and packages must be picked up within thirty (30) days of delivery. 91S retains the right to dispose of the materials, impose a storage fee, or return them to the sender at Member’s or their Employer’s expense after expiry of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt. It shall be incumbent upon the Members to intimate the Hub Team of 91S about large or important deliveries so that 91S can make arrangements for their receipt and storage. Please note that 91S will not forward any member’s mail or shipments unless your membership specifically allows for it. 91S just facilitates collecting of the parcel/mail and disclaims all liability for any damage to the packages’ contents. The Member Entity is solely accountable for the package’s contents. 91S shall not be liable for receiving or storing any mail and package as per this clause, after expiration of the Membership of any Member. 
  2. Safety and Security
  1. The common areas of the premises are regularly recorded through CCTV for security reasons. 91S reserves the right to utilize such recordings as and where required for security reasons or as needed as per Applicable Laws.
  2. Delivery persons and couriers are not allowed to cross the Hub desk considering safety and security of Members. Members are expected to collect their couriers/mail/packages, in-person directly from the delivery person for the purpose of giving the receiving confirmation and signing, to the delivery person for their records. 
  3. Members are expected to shut the access door after entering or exiting the premises.

Meeting/ Conference Room Rules

  1. Members are not permitted to bring food into conference and meeting rooms.
  2. Before leaving the conference or meeting room, Users are expected to clean the whiteboards, turn off lights / air conditioners / fans / plugs / etc.
  3. Before leaving the conference or meeting room, Users must take away their belongings and assets, to keep them under their possession and safe custody. Safety and security of any such belongings and assets shall not be the responsibility of 91S.
  4. Members are expected to contribute by making reasonable endeavours to keep the meeting or conference rooms neat and tidy while using them.

Pet Policy

  1. Some of the Hubs of 91S are pet friendly. However, the Member is required to approach the Hub’s Team before they wish to bring their pet into the Hub. 91S reserves the right of admission at its discretion. The Member who brings a pet as per this provision, shall be considered ‘owner’ of such pet under this clause. It shall be the sole responsibility of the owner to ensure that the pet while being at the premises is friendly & does not create any disturbance. The pet shall always remain under direct supervision and control of its owner while its presence in the premises. It shall be the liability of the pet owner to maintain cleanliness. In case, there is any injury/damage/loss to any other Users, staff or any properties of 91S which is caused by the pet, the owner shall compensate for such injury/damage/loss and shall not hold 91S responsible in any manner. 

Miscellaneous

  1. In the interest of the community, 91S reserves the right to immediately revoke access/services of User(s) in extreme circumstances wherein a User(s) continues to contravene any of the House Rules as mentioned herein, despite being requested to adhere and comply with these House Rules. Right to permit any User, to access the premises and/or to avail services of 91S, shall always remain reserved with 91S subject to these House Rules.  
  2. 91S retains the right to modify these House Rules from time to time, which shall be updated on this web page and/or followed with affixing of an updated copy of these House Rules at the conspicuous place at the Hub premises. Users are expected to keep themselves updated with the same while accessing the premises and/or availing services from 91S.
