It is a fact that women entrepreneurs are not only underserved in today’s economy but it is harder for them to raise money. If they participated on a level playing field on the global stage, the amount that would be added to the global GDP could run into trillions of dollars. Women-led companies are also known to focus on profit and impact on society and return 78 cents for every dollar of investment (vs 31 cents returns by male-run startups). Level Up is our effort to do more for women entrepreneurs by providing opportunities to learn, network and grow.
For the first time ever, 500 women-led startups in India will get a unique opportunity to enhance
their skills and knowledge in key elements of business, tech, leadership and
investment-readiness. Level Up will launch with 250 startups that will be selected through a
competitive application process that will follow a robust scoring system. The Level Up program
will run for a year and is free of charge.
91Springboard will provide the cohorts access to its vast and diverse network of entrepreneurs, investors, funders, and support organisations, and catalyse access to finance. Google for Startups will be rendering a hands-on virtual training in digital marketing, Google tools, and tech innovations. The women entrepreneurs will also receive access to product credits, equity-free strategic support as well as connections to investor networks.
